Once you have successfully passed your 2 year probationary period, you will find that working as a Police Officer for the Civil Nuclear Constabulary brings with it fresh challenges on a regular basis. Everyone begins their Police Officer career by undertaking one of the most important roles; protecting the nuclear sites under our jurisdiction. By working on a nuclear site, you will come into contact with a wide range of groups, from the site workers to the local surrounding communities when out on patrols,

Whilst many officers stay in a generalist Police Officer role, others decide on a completely different development route. Career opportunities can include working in areas such as specialist firearms, intelligence, dog handling and marine escorts.
