The Rewards
Working for the Constabulary as a Police Staff has the following rewards;
- 37.5 hour working week, normally working the hours of 08.15 - 16.30 with a 45 minute lunch break. *"
- Minimum of 25 days paid holiday. *
- 5% contributory final pension salary scheme.
- 2.5 privilege holidays during the year.
- The week between Christmas and New Year off, covered by an additional 30 minutes worked each week. *"
- There are gym facilities available at all Operational Units.
- Yearly performance related increases until a person reaches standard pay.*
* The above will be worked out on a pro-rata basis for all part-time members of staff.
" This applies to Headquarters and all Operational Units except Dounreay, where the working day differs slightly to cover an additional 3 days annual leave received each year.
