Career Path
The integrated National Competency Framework has defined the activities, behaviours and occupational requirements for policing roles within the CNC. The Framework identifies roles for you as a police officer in a comprehensive manner by highlighting expectations, levels of performance and career development opportunities. All police officers have role profiles in line with the requirements of the Unit and personal objectives and there are a total of 52 role profiles for police officers.
There are many opportunities in a growing organisation like the CNC. As a direct result of internal recruitment for new support units, opportunities have opened up at Operational units for promotions and specialist roles.
